SUMMER SHIPPING NOTICE June-August:   Our long handling time is to give us time to delay a shipment if necessary for hot weather related reasons. For example if it is forecast to be over 90 degrees at our departure post office and/or at the destination post office we will delay shipment to prevent overheating of the worms in transit from post office to airport/ airport to post office. If weather conditions are in good order we ship all orders the Monday after purchase and most orders arrive at their destination Wednesday or Thursday.   
      2000+ Juvenile red wiggler worms. We sell our worms at 8-9 weeks old fresh out of our cocoon hatching bins so you are getting pure fresh young healthy worms that will within a few weeks of purchase be reaching adulthood. By selling at this age it allows us to ship more worms in a smaller container which helps us to offer these worms at a more affordable price point per worm. If you are looking for pre fattened adult worms for fishing do not buy these. If you want a healthy population of composting worms with a voracious appetite then these are the worms for you! Once you place them in a worm bin with fresh bedding and food or a garden with plenty of space they will fatten up and more than double in size within a month.
